Brandi Myers

LPC

I am a person-centered counselor who believes that individuals have the inherent strength to create the changes they desire in their lives. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where people can feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, struggles, successes, hopes, and fears. I utilize a trauma-informed approach that takes into account each individual’s unique history and life experiences, recognizing that healing and growth are deeply personal processes. Throughout the counseling process, the aim is to help individuals become more aware of and accepting of themselves. I integrate a variety of evaluation tools and counseling approaches to best meet the needs of each person, tailoring methods to fit their specific circumstances.

I specialize in working with children and families, and I am certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Additionally, I provide neurofeedback to help individuals regulate their brain activity and improve emotional well-being.

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bushnell University, which I earned in 2021, and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development from Southern Oregon University. These educational experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in counseling techniques, child development, and psychological theory. I am passionate about supporting children, families, and individuals in their journey toward healing and personal growth.

On a personal note, I grew up in Douglas County and enjoy spending time with my family. I love this area, particularly because of its beautiful outdoors, and I find peace and joy in being around water (lakes, rivers, etc).
