Danielle Schmidt

DO

Dr. Danielle Schmidt is a dedicated primary care physician who truly values the patient in front of her. Dr. Schmidt dreamed of being a physician since she learned how to read as a child. At 16 years old, she graduated from high school in Portland and went to a Christian college in Texas where she ended up meeting the love of her life, Fred. She gave up her dream of medicine to do mission work in Taiwan with her husband for 10 years. After returning to the States, and working with International churches for a period of time, the Schmidt family returned to Oregon. While in Grants Pass, Dr. Schmidt managed a clinic and rediscovered the love of medicine. At the encouragement of her husband, she returned to school.

Dr. Schmidt holds a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia. She completed her residency in Family Medicine from Mcleod Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency in South Carolina. Dr. Schmidt completed her undergraduate degree from Oregon Institute of Technology and was delighted to be returning home to Oregon. She is double board certified in Family Medicine and a board-certified Diplomate of Lifestyle Medicine. Her and her husband, Fred, have two sons, two daughters and now young grandchildren to enjoy. They enjoy spending time with family, church activities, traveling, hiking beautiful spots in Oregon and relaxing by the ocean.
