Emmanuel Okenye

Emmanuel Okenye, DO is an ABIM board certified Internal Medicine physician who practices both outpatient at Evergreen Family Medicine and inpatient at Mercy Medical Center. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from LMU, participated in an externship rotation at Harvard and then subsequently completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kentucky in Bowling Green.
He received recognition as Student Doctor of the year during medical school and was a national student doctor of the year nominee. Dr. Okenye is fluent in multiple languages. He is founder and President of a nonprofit organization that provides education and mentorship to over 100 at risk children in Nigeria and Kenya. He is the chief medical director at the Nidus Aquilae clinic in Lagos Nigeria and enjoys taking mission trips to provide medical care to disenfranchised patients. He is also an associate professor at the college of osteopathic medicine of the Pacific in Lebanon OR and enjoys teaching the practice of medicine to trainees.
